Daniel E. Havican

Daniel Havican is an aggressive and zealous attorney at Perenich, Caulfield, Avril, & Noyes. His practice is devoted to representing victims of personal injury, both in the workplace and in everyday life.

Daniel was raised in his hometown of Palm Harbor, Florida. Upon graduating from East Lake High School, Daniel attended Florida State University where he received his B.S. in Economics. After graduating from Florida State, Daniel returned home to attend Stetson University College of Law.

Throughout his time in law school, Daniel clerked at Perenich, Caulfield, Avril, & Noyes. While in this role, Daniel conducted research for the firm and assisted throughout the litigation process. Despite clerking throughout law school, Daniel was repeatedly awarded Honor Roll. His persistence and commitment to his studies resulted in him receiving the highest-class grade in Sports Law and Interviewing and Counseling.

Upon graduating from Stetson University College of Law, Daniel worked for a workers’ compensation defense firm in Tampa, Florida. This experience enabled Daniel to have a better understanding as to the thought process of the insurance companies and how they assess claims. Although the law is heavily advantageous to employers, Daniel will fight to get the workers’ compensation benefits an injured worker is entitled to.

After working in workers’ compensation defense, Daniel has rejoined Perenich, Caulfield, Avril & Noyes Personal Injury Lawyers, and recommitted his practice to fighting insurance companies who fail to adequately reimburse or who fail to pay injured individuals.

Daniel is a member of the Florida Justice Association, the American Association of Justice, the Clearwater Bar Association, and the St. Petersburg Bar Association.

When he is not working, you can find Daniel participating in Tampa Bay Club Sport, sharpening his competitive edge that is often useful when dealing with insurance companies and at-fault parties.  He enjoys soccer, Florida State football, and kayaking. He also has an active interest in raising the awareness of Lewy Body Dementia in his community, in honor of his late grandfather.
